Ahhh, the difference 6 weeks can make

WE MADE IT HOME!

Sophie was an amazing traveler this time! In just 6 short weeks Sophie has developed a little bit of an attention span so sitting in the car playing with one of her toys kept her busy and happy. She also has fallen in love with Yo Gabba Gabba (a crazy, funny, kids show with LOTS of singing) and she will sit an watch that as long as you let her. She has also become a toddler (yes that hurts to admit). She is walking everywhere and is amazingly stable considering she looks like shes a 6 month old. So we packed her in to her seat, handed her toy after toy till she became bored then turned on some Yo Gabba Gabba. When we stopped we let her run around a bit to burn off some energy and we seriously had NO problems. We traveled for 11 hours the 1st day, and 4ish the 2nd day, and arrived happy and ready to run. It was so amazing to be home. To see our parents interact with our daughter. To watch our daughter play with her cousins. For our family to fit so beautifully into the family. It was restful, and fun and possibly the best trip home we've ever had (and that's saying something since we love to go home). We are so thankful that we got to be a family with our family.
